Mike McDonnell is the man behind
McDonnell Farrier Services, Inc.
Local to San Luis Obispo County, and raised in Paso Robles, Mike grew up loving horses and has made it his life’s mission to help keep them sound and healthy.
Mike graduated from Oklahoma Horseshoeing school in 2016, spent over 5 years apprenticing with an experienced farrier and now for the last 3+ years has maintained his own list of client’s horses. From racehorses to ranch horses, Mike does whatever he can to best suit the needs of his clients and keep their horses sound no matter their situation.
Mike also continues to look to improve on himself as a farrier and became an AFA (American Farrier’s Association) Certified Farrier, as of May 24th, 2025.
This makes Mike the farrier you can trust.
